Summary
“I dunno, his reactions are cute?” He settled on, shrugging as if he hadn’t said something incriminating. Boombox had only coughed, turning up the volume of the song still playing from his gear as Skateboard had hummed in response, something uncharacteristically nervous from the two.
And as the inphernals continued to walk within the night, the chatter of the city filling what would be an awkward silence, Boombox and Skateboard shared a thought.
I really, really don’t want to get involved with whatever they have going on.

Summary
A soft knock at the door.
Katana paused mid-sip, breath held in the quiet of his small home. For a moment, he wondered if he had imagined it — hope was a strange, delicate thing he still wasn’t used to handling.
The knock came again.

“Close ‘yer eyes, Meddy.”
Medkit blinked.
“..Huh?”
“Do I have to repeat myself? Close them!”
Medkit furrowed his eyebrows in response.
“I’m not–”
“Just close them, damn it!!” Subspace whined out, stamping his foot onto the ground like a child having a temper tantrum.

New faces aren't exactly something Blackrock gets in excess.
So when there is very suddenly a stranger wandering Blackrock's halls, Hyperlaser notices.
(Or; Katana's rescuers are only so different from the people who were pursuing him. Both lead their dominions with a clawed fist, and both believe themselves to hold ownership over him. At least the company here is better.)
