Maybe it’s that one too many glass he has that night as their collective meetup gradually reduces to a party of three, maybe it’s the smoke piled up in the suffocating air clouding his judgment as White and Orange sit and stare at him from the other side of the table, smirks matching as the younger man comments “Bet he wouldn’t be half bad, uh?” in a very much audible hum. Emerald eyes brimming with malice flicker at him, warm gulps of green pouring down his throat as Pink chugs one last drink and hoarsely teases: “Wanna move this someplace else and find out?”
Maybe it's the fact he’s thirsty for someone to want him, someone to reach him, someone to see him, someone to pity him, someone to hurt him (is there any difference at all?). -
