Summary
At university, Isagi can handle relentless training, impossible matches and Rin arguing with him over absolutely everything. What he cannot handle is another photo from his parents of a girl they think he should date.
So he comes up with a solution that seems simple enough: find someone willing to pretend to be his partner until his parents finally back off. After every sensible option falls apart, somehow Rin becomes the last person left.
A few rules, one favour in return, and no reason for either of them to take any of it seriously.
That was the idea, anyway.

Summary
Isagi transfers to Blue Lock Academy determined to leave his past where it belongs, carrying only the parts of himself he can still control. Passing as a beta is supposed to make that easier, keeping people at a safe enough distance that no one can look too closely.
Instead, Blue Lock gives him things he hadn’t planned for. Bachira becomes a friend before Isagi really knows how to stop it, the team begins to feel less temporary, and somewhere in the middle of all that is Itoshi Rin, with cold teal eyes, the faint scent of rain, and a presence Isagi finds increasingly difficult to ignore.
The longer he stays, the more Blue Lock starts to feel like somewhere he might actually belong. And with that comes a guilt he hadn’t expected, because every new friendship, every moment of trust, makes the truth he is hiding feel heavier than it did before.
Starting over was meant to leave the old weight behind.
Isagi just hadn’t expected to replace it with something he was suddenly afraid to lose.

Summary

Summary
Isagi Yoichi is a Christian. He's understood this since he was little: God is good in all He does, God is all powerful and all loving, follow the 10 Commandments, and, above all, homosexuality is a sin. Isagi's never understood why this specific teaching stood out to him, until he turned 15 and kissed a boy. That day, Isagi discovered that the Devil can come in many different forms: a snake, a lion. But in Isagi's case, the Devil came as a teal eyed boy.
Rin Itoshi is an Atheist. He'd known this ever since his parents tried to teach him about Christianity when he was 6: it all sounded like rubbish to him, even as young as he was. It sounded like a fairy tale, not reality. His parents tried to convert him: they wanted nothing but the best for Rin, they claimed. But if the best meant hiding who he is and who he loves, Rin would rather be condemned. He just wishes Isagi thought the same.
