Over a year has passed since the war ended.
The Gaang has gone their separate ways, and the world is slowly learning how to live in peace.
As Fire Lord, Zuko dedicates himself to repairing the damage his nation once caused. But behind the palace walls, his sister is unraveling. Imprisoned and isolated, Azula's mental health continues to deteriorate and Zuko fears he may lose her for good.Desperate to help her, he reaches out to the friends he once fought beside. Trust is fragile, but along the way, unexpected connections begin to form.
Ursa has already been found in exile with the help of Team Avatar, just as history remembers-only without Azula by her side.

Summary
Left behind at the Misty Palms Oasis, Katara waits days for Aang, Sokka, and Toph to return. But when bounty hunters close in, her only chance at escape comes from the last people she ever thought she could trust: Zuko and Iroh. Now traveling under false names and bound by a fake marriage, Katara finds herself on the road to Ba Sing Se. At first, she barely trusts him, but somewhere along the way, she starts to realize Zuko isn't what she thought he was.
She keeps reminding herself it will end once they reach the city, but in a place crowded with millions of refugees and stuck in the Lower Ring, she doesn’t have much hope of finding her friends. With no leads and nowhere else to go, she resolves to wait for them to find her. But in their cramped apartment, the days turn into weeks, and the longer they stay, the harder it becomes to remember where the act ends and something real begins.

Summary
How much does it cost to keep up a perfect life when it’s built on nothing but lies?
Katara hasn’t heard from Zuko in years.
The last time their paths crossed, things ended so badly that she boarded a ship and sailed away without looking back, convinced that leaving the past behind was the only way to move forward.
Since then, she's devoted herself to the life she always believed she wanted: standing beside Aang, helping build the Avatar Academy and shaping a future of peace for a world still healing from war.
