Summary
Metal’s always been a bit clumsy with words…
And overwhelmingly intense. And blunt. And perhaps even a little lovestruck.Metal lives with Amy after the occasion to steal him from Eggman presented itself. She saw in him a spark, and that spark burned for her. He struggles to express all that he did not know he could feel, and thus starts a chain of events about flowers, gifts, blushes and the colors of love. How does one speak the language of flowers?

Summary
It’s on a nice day that Metal Sonic is sent on a scouting mission, the same day that Amy Rose goes birdwatching in the forest to relax... With orders of staying undetected without protocol for if he encountered a freedom fighter, perhaps this is the opportunity for Metal to assuage his curiosity for the pink hedgehog.
And maybe then, someday, he’d be able to make sense of the birds’ songs, as well as the melodies plaguing his own program. Melodies he was never made to make or learn.Emotional neglect, Amy Rose, birdwatching, and Metal learning to communicate through bird calls.
