MARGOT VALERIE LIKES SOUND. She likes the sound of the wind blowing in the leaves when she walks in the forest, the sound of her steps on pavement and the rustle of the grass as she crawls through it. Marogt enjoys the sound her gun makes as she's shooting through rooftops and the sound clickers make as they race towards her, unknowing that they were barely gonna get within a foot of her.
Her entire life has always been quiet. When she was the youngest she could remember, her grandmother would whisper stories to her in the dead of night, with crickets outside and the mature fingers in her hair. She always slept soundly.
But the sound is different. It brings comfort to her in a way that nothing else could, because with the sound, it reminds her she isn't alone. Even if there's a breath of wind or a jaw clicking on one of the infected, she isn't alone.
That's probably the reason why Margot's joining these two strangers, not because she cares about a cure to this disease ; but because it would bring back the busy sounds of cities and people.
