Baz is the snarky, pretentious Cute Accounting Bloke, Simon is the Cute Idiot from Sales who’s Ebb’s best salesperson but costing Watford Industries a fortune because he’s terrible at the paperwork, Penny’s on the management track if boss Davy Mage would only recognize her brilliance, and Agatha is a frustrated artist in Marketing chafing at the corporate culture.

Lukas brushes his teeth and glances into the bedroom out of the corner of his eye. He catches sight of Philip changing, stepping out of his underwear and into another pair. He knows Philip has to leave for class in the next twenty minutes, and sometimes he feels stupid for thinking the way he's thinking. That he doesn't want to be apart for a minute, let alone hours.
Sometimes he thinks about school ending and what they'll do. He still wants to ride professionally, and he knows Philip still wants to take pictures, even more now than before. No matter what they're doing, Lukas just hopes they'll be together more than they're apart.
"Hey, babe," Lukas says, around his toothbrush.
"Yeah?" Philip asks, looking up as he pulls on his pants.
Lukas stares back at him in the mirror. "I think I'm in love," Lukas says, grinning at him.

Summary
Philip opens the door to Lukas’s room and tries to stifle a gasp. Lukas is standing there in that grey sweater Philip picked out for him, his hands in his pockets and a sly smile on his face. He rolls back on his heels and looks way too self-satisfied for his own good, but Philip thinks he definitely deserves to look that way.
There are at least twenty bundles of mistletoe hanging from Lukas’s ceiling, evenly distributed so they can cover more ground. He’s got two bottles of Philip’s favorite cider on his bedside table, next to a wrapped present. Which reminds Philip that he’s holding his present for Lukas. He tightens his grip on it, having nearly dropped it in his shock.
He still stands there in the doorway, blinking, his stomach dropping and his chest tightening. They’d gotten caught under the mistletoe at the mall the other day, just outside Macy’s. Philip kissed Lukas hard and made some offhanded comment about wishing every ceiling was covered with mistletoe. He’d never expected this, and he feels like his heart is beating outside his body.

“What are your resolutions?” Philip asks, nosing along a wrinkle in Lukas’s jacket.
Lukas narrows his eyes. “I never really make them,” he says, watching a star twinkle brightly above their heads.
“On purpose?” Philip asks.
“No,” Lukas says, though the word turns up at the end with the half-stories behind it. He’s never really wanted to commit to anything except motocross because nothing he could commit to publicly was ever what he actually wanted to do. His dad once suggested he resolve to learn to play the guitar, and even though he was interested in the idea, Lukas inwardly balked at it because his dad had come up with it. His whole life, until recently, has felt like a war, an internal battle between what society expected and what was in his heart.

Philip Shea.
He rushes up to the cage and flashes Lukas a grin as he grabs onto it, his hands dangerously close to where Lukas’s fingers are. Everything about Philip is dangerous to Lukas, because he does things to him. Always has, since they locked eyes on Corcuscant two years ago and met in the hallway hours later, pushing into Philip’s quarters for the night and making nice on promises Lukas thought he’d only uttered in his own head. Philip liked that he was a pilot. Liked how he looked on a speeder. Liked that he was a smuggler, which was surprising to Lukas. People usually didn’t like that, when they found it out. But it only made Philip fall into his arms that much quicker.

It's happening again. I should've known it was going to; I was an idiot for thinking that I was never going to have to experience this again. The harsh panting, the raw feeling in my throat, the painful aftertaste of having to swallow down another wave of nausea. I thought that I would never have to suffer through overdosing on another round of hopeless dreaming, wishful thinking, mindless wondering. I thought I would never have to wake up, fingers clutching at my hair in frustration, tears threatening to spill heavily, eyes shut tightly. I thought I would never have to wake up to reality, again. Alone.
The word is stuck in my mind, on a loop, like a broken record. You're alone, Simon. Alone, alone, alone. You're alone. You always be.
I clutch at my sheets tightly, and my mind is dark. I should've known this was going to happen again.
I was stupid for being so blind. So fucking stupid.
