The Jasmine Dragon comes into the mall, and apparently all it takes for Sokka to forget everything he's ever learned from the imaginary sales associate ethics rulebook are a pair of pretty gold eyes and plush lips turned up in a scowl.
(At least the cute but grumpy tea shop server has absolutely no qualms in giving Sokka the same energy right back.)

“Sometimes I think you try to make your voice echo on purpose,” Sokka snarks back in amusement, but then his lips purse together in silent consideration, and he sighs. “I suppose I’m not…exactly practiced at it,” he says carefully, and if it were any other situation Zuko would snort at the vaguely disgruntled look on his face at admitting his novice in something.
“If I’m bad at it, you can’t make fun of me.”

Look, it's not Sokka's fault that his dog managed to break free of his collar to go gallivanting around the Gaoling Kennel Federation's annual dog show, and then go make friends with the three-time winning Best of Breed champions.
So if the guy with the stupidly expensive cashmere sweater and pretty gold eyes could stop yelling at him about it, he'd really appreciate it.

The break in silence startled Toshinori, having not anticipated it. Aizawa was staring at him expectantly.
His own smile turned bittersweet, answering honestly, “I never entertained the idea. I thought that wasn't an option for me, considering my line of work and the danger it entailed."
Aizawa made a noise of acknowledgment. "And now?"
He blinked. "Now?" He echoed through a laugh. "I think I'm a bit too old for a baby, Aizawa." He took a moment, humming consideringly, "I suspect that ship has long since sailed for me." And if he's a bit forlorn over that revelation then that'd be his own little secret.
After tucking little Eri into bed, Aizawa asks Toshinori a question he isn't prepared for and is hit with more than a few earth shattering revelations along the way.

Keigo’s knees hit the planks with the finality of an executioner’s axe into the chopping block, with blood to match staining the deck red. Dabi can’t even hear the din of the battle in the face of Keigo’s pained expression and the crimson bloom spreading across his blue uniform.
No, the pirate thinks, as Keigo’s body tilts forward. No. Not for me. Not like this.
