"Sokka" Zuko spoke, garnering the tribesman's attention.
"Fire Lord Zuko," Sokka said, lowering his gaze to avoid Zuko's eyes, "you look well," Zuko felt so small.
Sokka spoke mechanically, rehearsed, like the conversation was strained and the six words were something he might choke on.
It dawned on him.
Zuko was alone, not even Hakoda was here to defend him from the carnivorous harpies, it was just him. His hands shook, lips trembled, but he did his best to show face. His smile disappeared, his warmth dying like the last coals on a hearth, and Zuko felt cold.
He hated the cold.

“Oh, c’mon Zoro!” Luffy was on his knees, hands clasped in front of him as though he were praying. Begging the swordsman to answer what, at this exact moment, the captain deemed to be the most important question in the world.
“No.” Zoro said simply, utterly unfazed by the captain’s antics, though he couldn’t help but let his eyes linger just a touch longer than usual on the dark haired pirate, burning the image of Luffy on his knees into his mind forever. Not that he wanted that image for any particular reason, heavens no.

Summary
Katsuki Bakugo was a man with many regrets, and it seemed that the list of regrets was growing longer and longer the older he got. One of such regrets was falling in love with his childhood best friend. Another regret was never telling that friend. If there was even the smallest chance that Izuku loved him back, now Katsuki would never be able to hear it spoken.

He didn’t. He didn’t want them to save him because he was supposed to save them. But he wasn’t strong enough, he would never be strong enough on his own. Maybe…maybe that was okay in its own right. Maybe they could save each other, maybe they could be strong enough together.

It wasn’t anything special. Just lips against lips, quick and simple and easy and something in the back of Zoro’s mind tells him that kissing Luffy shouldn’t be this easy. But it is, so he does. He kisses him longer than two friends beneath mistletoe probably should, and when this finally occurs to him and Zoro pulls himself from Luffy, he feels his captain’s fingertips drag across his skin. As if Luffy was trying to find purchase, to gain a grip and keep Zoro close, but to no avail.

Denki’s attention flickers from Hitoshi’s eyes to his lips then back up, “I’m a sucker for a good bogo.”

Katsuki Bakugo has an extensive vocabulary but the emotional intelligence of a walnut. He could know every word of every lexicon and still he would not be able to string words together in an order artful enough to even possibly begin to describe how he feels about a particular individual with messy green curls and eyes of forest green with freckles like constellations dusting his cheeks.

Aang rounds on the direction from which the boulder had come, scanning the area. Another boulder is flung at him, seemingly from nowhere. He rushes it, pulling his fist, he extends it to collide with the boulder. It shatters, falling away around him. Aang dons his glider, soaring over the enclosures—cells—cages in the direction of the earthbender. Rocks and debris are thrown at him that Aang narrowly avoids, he lands in front of a large man, and without a moment's hesitation Aang engages him in battle. The words, “where’s my girlfriend!?” leave him like a reflex as he plants his feet and summons the earth to rise at his command.
