    Summary

Harry Osborn hated Spider-Man. He hated that he'd stolen his best friend away from him, he hated how he'd won the heart of New York and he hated how he took his father's life and got away with it.

But he was done trying to get revenge for it. He wouldn't put on his father's costume any longer, he wouldn't ruin his mind with drugs anymore. He was done with that life, he was done with him - Peter Parker, and he was certain of that.

So why was it that when the masked menace collapses in his garden in the dead of night, injured and unconscious, his first reaction isn't to shout or chase him away, but to grab the medkit and start dressing his wounds? Why did he insist upon making sure that he was alive and well instead of ridding him from his life like he'd always wanted? He hated Spider-Man, he was sure of that, so why did he stay?

Aka: Peter gets badly injured during a villain attack and accidentally takes himself to his former best friend's house for safety. Harry, against everything he thought he knew, runs down to help him, all the while battling with the truth that maybe his hate wasn't as strong as he'd wished it to be.

    Summary

The first time Peter had seen anything comic book related, it had been of Superman. He’d been at a bookstore–his mother was picking some up–and he’d wandered to the comic book section, running into a standee of Superman. It didn’t tower over him, despite their respective heights, but rather stretched towards the sky above him, and Peter wanted to reach the sky, too.
He tried to, reaching out his arm to reach Superman’s outstretched first, but despite being on his tippy toes he hadn’t even reached the “S” on his chest.
Soon after, he learned that the “S” he’d tried to reach had actually been the Kryptonian symbol for hope. And then, his parents had died, and he needed that hope.

    Summary

Peter doesn’t plan for the future anymore. College essays rot in his backpack while he pretends a city’s worth of bruises is the same thing as a plan. Harry smiles for cameras and shakes hands with men who still call Peter “a friend,” then cries in boardrooms no one else uses. They’re in love, and they’re drowning in Oscorp secrets, surveillance, and cloned mistakes.

Something has to give, and Peter isn't sure it won't be him.
