It’s refreshing to spend time with a female friend, someone she can trust doesn’t have nasty ulterior motives. It’s wonderful to spend time with Jadzia, getting to see things from her unique perspective while sharing her own view of the universe with her.
And if Nerys laughs a little too hard at Jadzia’s jokes, or forgets what she was saying mid-sentence because she was distracted by those beautiful blue eyes, she’s sure it means nothing. After all, Jadzia has that effect on everybody. Doesn’t she?
