“Why, um, why are we in London?” Louis asks, voice hoarse, and Oli stills.
“Because you wanted to keep the store open for Christmas Eve?” he offers, clearly confused. “Lou, are you sure you don’t want to see the doctor? You don’t seem like yourself, lad.”
“Are you having me on?” Louis asks directly, fisting his hands. “Are you pranking me, Wright? On me fucking birthday?”
Oli shakes his head.
“I don’t know what you’re on about, Lou, but I am not pranking you. What would the prank even be?” he asks, crossing his arms. “You are scaring me, Tommo.”
“Do you know Harry?” Louis repeats, demanding. “Harry Styles. Do you know him?”
Nothing changes in Oli’s face.
“No, I told ya, mate. I’ve only ever known one Harry, and his last name definitely wasn’t Styles. Why?”
“I—” Louis stutters. “I think I might have destroyed a whole universe.”

Everybody is tired and overworked, and Louis can't take it anymore. He makes a wish for his birthday and wakes up in the world he doesn't recognise. Featuring 1D boys living their alternative lives where the band never happened and Louis who remembers everything and tries to fix his mess.
