Summary
“Oh ho! is that so? If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you were trying to make a move on me, dear.”
Lightbulb giggles in response, leaning forward on her elbows and raising her eyebrows seductively. “No need to make a move on you,” she says, suave as she can be with pieces of sticky rice already caught on the side of her face, “I’ve already got you. Checkmate, and all that.”
“Of course you do.” Paintbrush says, entirely genuine, which causes Lightbulb’s ears to flush pink. Her reactions are always so honest, easy to draw out of her. The redness crawling along her face, like rust settling into an old building, makes Paintbrush think once more of the dirty secret they have kept under their shared bed.
OR: Paintbrush makes a purchase. Then makes good use of it.

Summary
Patrick grabs Pete’s wrists in his hands, yanking them above his head and shoving him back against the rough concrete wall of the venue. Pete takes it with a grunt, thrashes like a caught fish, but Patrick shoves a leg between his to keep him from dropping to the floor. Never one to make things easy, Pete fucking bites Patrick’s collarbone, an easy target through the stretched neck of his t-shirt, Patrick supposes. He gasps out a “What the fuck, man?” leaning back, but doesn’t let Pete out of the cage of his limbs. Pete goes to twist out of Patrick’s grip, do something, but he aborts the movement halfway through. Patrick tenses, confused then Pete hits him with something that staggers him more than any blow.
“Dude, are you hard right now?”

Summary
While looking up on the internet how to properly knit the separate pieces of a sweater together, because she had forgotten after her long absence from knitting and needlework, Lightbulb came across something odd. A myth, a legend, aptly titled The curse of the love sweater. The general consensus, backed by people who saw this phenomenon in the past (or had it happen to them), is that while knitting a sweater for a person who you are in a relationship with, the person will break up with you.
Lightbulb’s freshly budding relationship with Paintbrush has been going well. And now it was all going to be ruined! Because of a sweater!
Or: Lightbrush are inflicted with The Curse of the Love Sweater.

Summary
Patrick turned around to face Pete, and Pete started talking. "You can disappear into thin air. You can get into someone's head and make them do things. You rarely leave your basement. And, apparently, unless someone slipped acid into my drink tonight, you drink blood." Pete stopped in front of Patrick, who wore an expression like a caged animal. "Are you a motherfucking vampire?"
Pete watched Patrick swallow. "There's no such thing as vampires," he finally answered, his voice shaky.
