“You know, maybe I should take you out on a practice date,” Erza said, taking a sip of her coffee.
Natsu’s eyes went wide and his face paled. “Um, I’d rather be single, I think.”
“I’m a wonderful date, though!” Erza protested.
“I think what Natsu means is you’re too good of a date for him,” Lucy said. “He needs someone on his level, you know? You’re far too advanced and he’d be too overwhelmed by you to learn.”
“You make a good point. My tastes are much more particular than Natsu’s,” Erza conceded. “I know! Gray can take you on a practice date. Maybe you’ll do better under the instruction of another man.”
“Absolutely not!” Gray said. “There’s no way I’m helping Ashes here get a girlfriend.”
“I think that’s a great idea!” Lucy said.
“You too?” Natsu said, throwing Lucy a look of betrayal.
“It’s settled then,” Erza said, clapping her hands. “Gray will take Natsu on a date.”
