“I didn’t know you smoked.” There was a slight puffiness to Yeonjun’s eyes, a translucent trail of tears he must have forgotten to wipe off.

Beomgyu sucks the ash and grim of nicotine into his lungs, feeling the controlled destruction flood his veins and make his blood thick as tar. Not once does he break eye contact with the man who imbued the air with the smell of rain and the richness of life. Yeonjun slips the cigarette out from Beomgyu’s finger, looking at it for just a second. Face contorted with disgust, he dropped it to the ground and crushed it with the heel of his shoe. As he stares into Beomgyu’s soul, the man twists his foot left and right until the buzzing orange fire and gray-white stick were mangled into impossibly small particles.Their lovesick professors put them together, but who knew they would be changed forever.

The silence between them after the other three left was comfortable, and was easily filled. But Yeonjun would gladly stand beside Beomgyu for an eternity if he wanted, no questions asked.
“We’re on opposite teams.” Beomgyu reached towards Yeonjun’s jaw, rubbing soft shapes into the space under his dark circles.
“We are.” Yeonjun replied, too lost in Beomgyu eyes to care much about the fact they felt like the only thing shining in the darkness. His saving grace, the life vest that keeps him afloat when he can’t swim anymore after the world sucked the life out of him.After months and months of planning, Yeonjun is finally ready to put his perfect plan to good use.

Summary
Facing a hard recovery from an accident that forced him to abandon his dance major and one true passion, Yeonjun is slowly coming to terms with the person he used to be, and the changes he needs to make. He and his roommate Soobin continue their campus player lifestyle, but Yeonjun starts to notice things he hadn't before.
Yeonjun watches as Soobin and Beomgyu fuck and fight through their on again off again relationship, but it finally becomes clear to all of them that it needs to end. When Soobin jokingly suggests that the only way he could get over Beomgyu is if Yeonjun touches him, it's seen as just that, a joke. But in a moment of vulnerability, Beomgyu admits he's harbored a crush on Yeonjun in the past, and Yeonjun isn't sure how this effects the direction of their relationship, until Yeonjun is in too deep with no clear way out.
“Soobin-ah has a list. Of people he won’t fuck.”
“So, how do you get on this list? Which I’m sure is pretty exclusive.”
“I won’t go where hyung’s already been.”

Beomgyu sighs. "Yeonjun, I just want to sit by the fire and warm up."
"Yeah, the fire I built, wearing my clothes, after eating the food I got, in the cabin I paid for."
"I get it! Your touch is on everything here, just like it is in the rest of my life, too. I can't escape it!"
Or, Beomgyu just wants to enjoy his vacation, a much-needed break to celebrate his best friend's birthday. But all of that gets derailed between a late flight, lost luggage, and a surprise freak snowstorm, and he's absolutely sure it is all Yeonjun's fault.

Summary

Nothing against Choi Yeonjun. Beomgyu has only met him a couple of times after Soobin had insisted he does, and he likes the guy just fine, really. He’s a sweet dude and all that, Beomgyu would just like him a whole lot more if he weren’t hogging his best friend so much.
or, choi beomgyu’s best friend gets a new best friend, and beomgyu doesn’t really see the appeal until he hears said new friend fuck another alpha on new year’s eve.
