  1. Endings - Take 2 by

    Summary

I was inspired by several other works in this fandom, those that added to or rewrote the ending for various episodes. I just started watching the second season and am excited to write some alternative end scenes. Perhaps this will be a very short compilation - maybe in episode 2 (well, 3-4) Anna and Yakov will admit they still have feelings for each other and agree to figure out how to make it work. Seems unlikely...

    Summary

Letters exchanged after the Photographer episode. Having just re-watched it, I forgot (or never appreciated before) the great Anna-and-Yakov scenes. Yakov cannot resist engaging Anna in conversation or hinting at his affections, explaining himself without actually explaining anything, in an awkward courting, of sorts. Hope you enjoy!
