Summary
In the rain-soaked town of Iwanuma, Miyagi, Iwaizumi confesses his love to his best friend, Oikawa, just moments before Oikawa leaves for college in Korea. Struggling with fear, identity, and an uncertain future, Oikawa turns away despite sharing Iwaizumi's feelings. Left behind, Iwaizumi channels his heartbreak into music, supported by their bandmate Matsukawa. Eventually, Iwaizumi reaches out through heartfelt emails, reopening a tender but tentative connection. Months later, determined to bridge the emotional and physical distance, Iwaizumi travels to Korea and reunites with Oikawa. Though still afraid, Oikawa chooses to try—embracing love, vulnerability, and the promise of something real. In the quiet warmth of being together again, the two find healing, hope, and the beginning of something lasting.
Context: Iwaizumi may seem a little irrational but I just wanted to clarify that I forgot to write the prologue so... they were previously friends with benefits, so please keep that in mind and don't hate my main man Iwaizumi because he does absolutely nothing wrong #thebabyever. -
