Summary
Most of the time, Cellbit believed himself skeptical.
Yet here, facing the most beautiful man he’d ever met for what should be the first time, there was a single, unexplainable thought numbing his senses:
I’ve finally found you.
In the 1950s, a private detective finds love while stuck on a case that might change the course of his life irreversably. 70 years later, a man identical to him unwittingly threads the exact same path.
(There is order for a reason. Love might as well just be another.) -

Summary
From there, it’s all telltale. His name is called, he gets his drink. Quackity goes on with his life blissfully—after all, Wilbur has done nothing worth drawing his gaze. Quackity’s freckles are still not freckles, they’re moles, and Wilbur walks to the station with the promise of coming back without forgetting that. However many first meetings it takes.
Wilbur meets Quackity for the first time again and again and again.

Summary
“I’m still going to see you, right?” Quackity asked waveringly.
“Just because we won’t see each other daily doesn’t mean we’re not best friends anymore. You can’t get rid of me; we’re stuck together forever.”
(Teenagers always make promises for the future they can’t keep. How could they?)
Amnesiac and alone, Quackity tries to piece together memories of a forgotten childhood friend.

Summary
Fit paused and smiled up at him, like he’d known exactly who would be visiting. Maybe he did. “Look who it is. You’re early.”
“Were you counting? I didn’t realize I left such an impression,” Pac mused, surprised that he could muster up any confidence at all. Knowing his weak resolve when it came to those lovely brown eyes, it wouldn’t last long.
“Maybe, maybe,” Fit said. “You’re a hard guy to forget.”
