Atsushi is a young orphan and artist living in a small hunting village. Taken in as a child after suffering from amnesia, he enjoys his peaceful life.

“Can’t give you too many details, I’m afraid.” Kojiro returned with a sigh, glancing behind him before leaning down, grinning. “But between you and me,” he whispered, holding a hand up in the space between him and Reki’s ear, the kid listening intently, “It might be a new serial killer.”
“Wh— huh?!”
“But you didn’t hear it from me!”

“Would you laugh if… I said yes?” Atsushi admitted, his voice small and feeble like a mouse. He dared not look back up into Akutagawa’s gaze - he felt as if he would only be met with a laugh - but the mafioso was silent and still underneath his hands. Slowly, his eyes trailed up Akutagawa’s body until they reached his gaze. His gaze was neutral; Atsushi searched for any signs of pity, any signs of amusement, but was left with none in his hands.
The corners of his mouth turned upwards.
“Then, Nakajima, let me teach you how to waltz.”
