"Full?" Minghao asks.
Hansol nods. His stomach is filled and his feet are warm. "This is the best dream I've ever had," he confesses.
"You think this is a dream?" A knife-earring sways, getting dangerously close to skin as Minghao leans forward to dip his spoon directly into the pot of soup, his rice seemingly abandoned for now.
"You don't?"
He slurps loudly from his spoon, lips slick. "I think calling this a dream implies it's not real." Which means he thinks it is real. Or wants it to be at least.
"Then this is the best not-dream I've ever had," Hansol says.
Minghao laughs. It sounds sweet, just like the real thing, bounces off the walls of the kitchen and sinks into Hansol's skin. It tickles. Hansol wants to not wake up, wants to fall asleep again, or sleep deeper.
He wants to eat some more.
