“Not well? How so?”
Bonnie opened his mouth, and then he noticed a shambling, zombie-like figure out of the corner of his eye. It actually made him jump, but once he looked at it, he noticed that it was just Vanessa. He released his ear in relief.
“Vanessa!” he said, smiling. “You made it!”
A moment later, the smile was gone. Because as Vanessa doddered into full view, she looked less than unwell as Bonnie had mentioned. Her skin was a sickly sort of milky white and she was drenched in sweat. Her eyes were unfocused and bloodshot, and she didn’t seem to notice Bonnie or Freddy as she was walking. It took grabbing her by the shoulder just to get her attention, and doing that had the same effect as waking someone up out of nowhere, as she reeled back in fright with a sharp gasp.
“Officer Vanessa?” Freddy said. “Are you alright?”

OR: What if Glitchtrap could manifest in the form of not only a technological virus, but a biological virus, too?
Dubbed the Malhare Virus, the disease's entire point is to weaken Glitchtrap's victims to the point where they will be too weak to resist his control. Vanessa just so happens to be patient zero.

“So, whaddaya say? I helped you out with your job- gotcha all up ‘n promoted on the back end, no-questions-asked, no-citations-needed! So, will you help me out with mine?”
Vanessa glanced at the door, which shut the instant her eyes landed on it. She looked back at Glitchtrap, hand still pressed against the screen in what was clearly his best attempt at getting a handshake without real hands. “Time’s a-ticking, Vanessa~” he sing-songed “will you be my knight in shining armor?”
The heavy clomp-clomp-clomp of animatronic footsteps echoed from the hallway beyond, only interrupted by the screech of metal-on-metal as who she only guessed was Monty scraped at the door.
“Or will you be just another stain on the wall?”
