It's late when Sakura calls him.
It happens to be in a momentary haze of self doubt and worry over his existence within the world, his powers and even over the possibility of whether or not Sakura truly did love him. So, the typical set of worries that ran over his mind in moments of absolute self doubt. There’s a sense of drowning that comes in waves that normally are hard to shake on nights like these. Yet, there’s the familiar ringing of the phone that sits at the end of the bed, and a connection like no other within his mind that reminds him that there’s only one other person who knows him better than himself.
