Summary
Accompanying his father on a hunting trip, Seokjin saves a small wolf cub from a trap and they become friends.
That encounter proves more complicated than mere friendship and Seokjin grows up to find himself tangled in the customs of creatures he had no idea existed, fighting for a love he didn't know he needed and having no one on his side. It's alright however, because in the end of it, Seokjin might finally find someplace to belong.

“We’re going to need words for this, Taehyung,” Namjoon sounds serious, and Taehyung realizes it’s the first time he’s used his name all evening. No little one or pretty boy or cutie. And he misses those names already.
“Yes— I would like that,” he finally offers.
“Say it then,” Hobi demands.
“Yes, I would like— to go back to Seoul— with you,” Taehyung swallows as Hobi teases his thumbs right above his waistband.
Namjoon finally sits back on the couch and nods his head at Hobi.
“Ask him for it, baby. Ask daddy, and he’ll give you everything you need,” Hobi whispers.

Writing a fictional story that lines up (as much as possible) with actual past timeline is no small feat. Nisaki did a really great job of it.
For a small while, I wasn't sure I was ready to dive into the angst, but I took a deep breath and did, and was glad I did. Some stories you read and might forget about much of the plot after a time, but you are left with a residual of feeling and memory. I think this is that kind of fic

He's squeezing his mind for details from last night, when his own voice, slurred and embarrassingly bestowed, reaches him, coming horrifyingly from Seokjin's phone.
