[A continuation of “Absolute Zeal” from Zayne’s perspective.]
The first time felt like a dormant volcano finally erupting, magma bubbling beneath the surface for years then suddenly bursting out of control, spreading rapidly like wildfire. But this feels like the slow seep of lava down the mount — molten, messy, melting everything in its path. It’s just as hot, just as uncontainable, just as all-consuming. Yet it’s also measured, unhurried, indulgent. His body rolls over and into hers like a heatwave, hips grinding deep and languid as they both steadily catch fire.
“You wanted to know how I imagined our first time,” he breathes into the arc of her neck, tongue darting out just to taste her for a moment between words. “I wanted to savor you. Take my time with you.”
“Let’s not rush this time, alright?”
