Marinette isn't having the best day, but it gets a little bit better when she sees one of her best friends, even if it is only for a few moments. Any interaction with Adrien is enough to genuinely brighten her day. Even if he does buy out the last of the mango macarons, which are her favorite and she was totally going to eat them once the lunch rush died down, but whatever.
Ladybug and chat noir's patrol starts like any other. a lot of jokes, plans, ideas, but when one coincidence too many line up, it ends in some life-changing revelations.
