"—Dynamight." The boss rolled his eyes. "We heard you the first time."
"I'm telling the truth!" Izuku whisper-shouted.
"And I'm All Might," the man replied sarcastically, earning a snicker from one of the others.
Izuku looked around at them incredulously before finally sitting down and letting out a tired sigh.
This certainly wasn't going well.
Or: Izuku is your average Quirkless Hero fanboy collage student. He cosplays his favorite Pro Heroes, goes to conventions and posts about it online. His life couldn't be less scary! 'Til one day, he's shoved inside a dark, shady van while trying to do the things he loves.

Stuck in a ghost-like state, the boy enters a race against time in order to save himself from permanently dying. Much to his luck - or lack of it -, the only person who can see and talk to him in this state is no one other than Kacchan.
Alternatively: Deku and Kacchan are soulbound.
