Summary
Kinich has lived his life like a single long routine, doing the same things every day for years. He doesn't talk much, and shuns the company of others. The closest he's allowed anyone is a just a simple handshake.
Then, he meets Mualani by some stroke of fate and his life is flipped upside down. Things aren't the same anymore and he starts to want for things that have before turned his stomach.
Little Kachina is there, too. She's quiet, but it's a quiet unlike his own. She is happy, but full of doubt. She is strong. So strong in fact, that it's like she can't contain it and it spills out of her to inspire others. He is left in her wake.
