Summary
At approximately 5:27 each morning, Peter watches the Chrysler Building turn gold. And each morning, he lays in his bed, weighed down by an expensive comforter and lack of sleep, and watches the sun rise from the big window in what is supposed to be his room. Even after two months of this routine, of living in a new place, he still longs for the soft morning light that trickled in through his tiny window back home. As he watches New York wake up, Peter can’t help but think how unfair it is that everyone else is continuing on like normal. That the loss of May Parker didn’t cause the world to stop turning the way Peter’s world did. That May deserved the world, but that it doesn’t seem to care that she isn’t there anymore.

Summary
Spider-Man was everything that Peter Parker wanted to be. He was like a game of pretend and sometimes when the suit was on, he could pretend that nothing had changed. People recognized him with the suit, Spider-Man was remembered.
Peter Parker was not.
A little over a year had passed since his existence had been erased and he was building a life for himself. He was in his second semester of college, he had a job, his apartment could be worse. Things were okay. But still, he couldn't help but feel that he was existing outside of himself. He sometimes felt disconnected from his body and it only seemed to get worse when both new and old foes seem to be intent on taking him down, no matter the consequences.

Summary
The kid is alone. His last parent is gone, and he’s never going to be the same again. As selfish as it is, Tony finds himself mourning both May and a version of Peter that will never exist again.
He watches with numb pity as Happy breaks down, taken aback at how affected the man seems at May’s death. But then several puzzle pieces fall into place.
