    Summary

Kudo's lateness and an accident during a particularly long and beautiful sunset triggers a string of coincidences whose far-reaching consequences Shiho can't foresee. Talking to a stranger who shares the same bad luck in love, she takes a walk down memory lane and recalls the story Gin told her when she was a child: the legend of the ghost at twilight...

A Shiho-centric story about the downfall of the Organization and the aftermath (pairings: Sherry/Gin, Conan/Ai, Shiho/Shinichi, Shiho/Kaito, Shiho/"stranger").

    Summary

Mo Ran's best friend (and crush) Shi Mei is suddenly transferring from Sisheng University, and Mo Ran is devastated. But when Shi Mei tells him that the reason he's leaving is because his doctoral supervisor came onto him, Mo Ran's heartbreak turns to rage.

He's not even surprised. Former child prodigy Chu Wanning might seem as pure as driven snow, but no one is that monomaniacally ethical, that scrupulously altruistic, without hiding some big secret.

Then, with his parting words, Shi Mei ruefully says that he might be believed if Chu Wanning had been inappropriate with some other student too... and Mo Ran has a brilliant idea.

    Summary

The man on the smudged laptop screen, captured in the pixelated glory of Mo Ran’s dashcam footage, stares wide-eyed and vulnerable into the camera as death comes careening towards him. His expression is unguarded, wet hair plastered to pale cheeks, mouth softened as if on the precipice of a gasp, while the livid gleam of the stop light scatters violently red off the slick asphalt, and paints the stranger in a rosy faience.

    He’s beautiful.

Mo Ran hasn’t been blessed with the most extensive of vocabularies, and can’t give voice to the purple prose a more talented tongue might offer, but he knows beautiful when he sees it. He’s been staring with unrepentant fascination at this same freeze-frame image for over an hour now, captivated, his cramped bedroom illuminated only by the battered laptop’s fifteen-inch display.

“The clouds don’t let us see the stars,” Mo Ran says letting the annoyance in his voice bleed through. Per usual, there is no reply from Chu Wanning. There’s nothing forcing him to reply. Mo Ran grumbles and buries his face against Chu Wanning who stares up at the falling snow.
They remain like that for a long time.
“Mo Ran,” Chu Wanning suddenly says. His voice is rough from illness, but in the silence of snow it rumbles through Mo Ran.
“Hm?” Mo Ran replies in surprise.
    “She’s moving.”
