Summary
Before Jimin had come of age and presented, he had dreamed of finding someone. Only half of his kind were lucky enough to even have a mate. So many of his den had gone their entire lives without being blessed. The odds were unkind to the foxes. Perhaps it was a cosmic punishment for their gumiho nature.
On his way to another futile matchmaking meeting, gumiho Prince Jimin is waylaid by a strange creature of fire and ash. To protect himself from deadly injuries, his transforms into a fox.
Disgraced Healer Seokjin comes across the poor creature and takes it back to his supposedly haunted hanok to recover. Jimin discovers that perhaps he was looking for his precious mate in all of the wrong places.
A story of misunderstandings regarding dead birds, flower gathering as a surprisingly sexy chore, the word gekkering several times (fox scientists have a command over the English language that I can only envy), and true love as expressed by tailoring.

Summary

Summary

Seven magical boys live in the shadow of this repressive regime. As the children of those who resisted the Mutuality, they are named traitors, magical but marginalized. Namjoon has been adopted by the ambitious Deputy Mayor, trained as a mage as part of a malevolent political scheme. Hoseok is engaged to be bonded to the Deputy Mayor’s son in a terrible ritual. Jimin and Taehyung live and work under the protection of the city’s black marketeers. Jungkook has been driven by desperation and a fear of his own prophetic abilities to join the city guard, Jin’s on the run because his grandmother led a failed rebellion… and you don’t even want to know what’s happening to Yoongi.
If they can come together, there’s a chance the seven of them can turn things around. But the whole of the Mutuality is bent against them, and Namjoon and Hoseok are running out of time.
This book had a strange genesis and I’m not sure what else to write here. Please please tell me what you’d like to know and I’ll amend this as it grows.
