Her stomach scrapes hollow, long past queasiness, longer past hunger. At this point she's willing to risk conjuring up a tiny flame no matter the danger if it keeps her alive, but she's tried and failed and tried again and failed again, energy and mana depleted, as dry as the wells in Calaglia during a drought.
