Hongjoong can’t help but glance at her out of the corner of his eye, images of her dressed in jean shorts and a crocheted bralette flashing into his mind. He shoves down those thoughts as fast as possible. “It would work, but if you’re wanting to make something to wear in the heat I’d suggest cotton yarn instead. It breathes better.”
“Oh, alright. I’ll get that kind.” She trades the bundle of acrylic yarn in her hands for a similar color of cotton yarn. She smiles again. “Okay, I’m ready to check out then?”
Oh no. He forgot about the faux pas he was supposed to correct. “Um, so I don’t… actually work here.”

Summary
Spring has finally come. After several years trapped in a cold and disastrous winter, the Five Kingdoms can rise from their ashes and shine again. Jinju, the first kingdom, needs help and can't ask the other kingdoms which have already join forces all together ; the Queen Regent decides to ask for the independent province of Mongje to help, by proposing an arranged marriage between her son, the future King Minho of the Choi dynasty, and the young Lady of Mongje.
Everything was planned years ahead and both coronation and wedding ceremonies approach... all until the unexpected passing of the future bride, which forces both kingdom and province to review their arrangement. In such a time of distress for Jinju, Mongje has no other choice but propose someone else to marry the King : their only son, Kibum.

“Jagi,” Seonghwa shifts his body to look at Hongjoong. “I would love to spend time with you, you know I couldn’t say no.”Or:
Before their concert in Mexico, Hongjoong asks Seonghwa if he could stay with him in Los Angeles, saying he will book an Airbnb for the two of them. The couple spend time with one another, soaking in the California sun and just by loving each other.

Summary
There was a time that Gordon was forcefully optimistic, staked on the idea he’d never have to wear that suit again, that he’d never see another dead body. The train ride to City 17 gave simple enough instruction: abandon instinct, accept purpose. In the right place, at the right time, he would’ve done both. Lived a mundane life under Combine rule.
More likely, he would’ve met his end facing down an HECU marine’s mounted machine gun. He dreams about that, too: surrounded, bleeding out, the last sounds on his ears the asphalt bubbling under the blistering heat of that red-rock desert and the din of a dozen jogging jackboots. Maybe he would have seen God, or more likely the blackness would have swallowed him and spit him out right back onto that transit system, doomed to repeat every mistake and more.
