Staring at the screen, you saw the data start to pour in as Neroli slept in the lab bed.
The professor had asked for your assistance. He had been testing out his sleep data collection software on himself, only to run into some anomalies in the data. Accessing the cameras in the lab provided no clarity; there wasn’t anything visibly different about his sleeping form during the times when the anomaly struck. The video feed didn’t even have sound.
You sighed. This really didn’t fall under your job description. You weren’t a sleep scientist; none of this data made sense to you. And yet, Professor Neroli had asked you directly.
