Summary
This story begins with a hunt to find someone treasured lost. After a hunting accident goes terribly awry 8 months prior, Nicholas D. Wolfwood, local werewolf and exotic hunter for the city church of things folklore and legend, has to go and hunt the current target, a newborn vampire who also happens to be his husband and lover, one Vash Saverem. He's got the trail, and now Wolfwood needs every hope and prayer he can get to save Vash and bring them both back to their friends, family, and the comforts of their home, where they belong. It gets rather cold and lonely out in the woods, even with a bright moon hanging high above in the sky and the lights of the city twinkling far off in the distance.
