Summary
“Why did the blue lion choose you?”
Lance’s eyebrows rose to his hairline. He was an expressive boy. He wiped the shock away quickly though, smiling easily as he took a small sip from the drink he held.
“Dunno. We had a connection, I felt it the second I stepped into that cave. You know, the one Keith-“
“I know,” Krolia said tersely. “I found it.”

Summary
“My Abuela said it,” Silvio insists. “She said you have to wear the hat, because you have a pale ass so you’re going to get skin cancer and die before Lance even wakes up.”
Keith looks between the children and the hat, too confused to glare, sweaty and horrid from pulling weeds beneath the scorching sun. “What?”
“That’s wrong,” Nadia complains, and yanks her brother down to her level to whisper the correction in his ear.
“Ooh,” Silvio amends. “Tía Veronica said you have a pale ass. My Abuela said you’re gonna die.”

Summary
“You mean grab me and swing me around like Tarzan and Jane?”
“Exactly.”
Keith looks a bit incredulous. Lance would like to ensure him of the safety of swinging from building to building, but he’s not entirely sure as to if it really was safe at all. Probably not. But he would never let anything happen to him, would in fact catch him on the way down if the situation called for it. He says as much.
“That’s… not exactly reassuring. I’d prefer not to be falling in the first place.”

Summary
What a foolish sentiment to get hung up on. Keith, brave and hot-tempered pilot of the Red Lion, Paladin of Voltron, couldn’t decide how to give a Christmas gift.
Never mind that. He didn’t have the time for this.
No really—it was difficult enough for him to fit three meals into a day, Keith didn’t have the extra leisure time to go window shopping between evading blasts from enemy ships.
-
When Keith overhears Lance talking about Christmas, he makes it his mission to get him a Christmas gift. He will soon find out that gift giving is not his forte.

Summary
“Great catch you got there.”
Lance pushed back the shock that Keith Kogane was actually talking to him and managed a scowl.
“Strangely enough, he didn’t mention being an absolute ass in his profile.”
He got a chuckle from that and couldn’t help a pleased warmth from rising in his chest. Dropping his chin in his hand, he watched as Keith finished bussing the table.
Keith was still wearing those stupid fingerless leather gloves that all the girls fawned over, but traded in his typical black sweatpants and hoodie for an equally black pair of jeans and matching T-shirt.
He looked unfairly attractive, as usual.
Lance blinked, pushing that intrusive thought away and instead focusing on another.
“Keith,” he leaned forward, clasping his hands together. “You gotta help me, my man.”
5 times where Lance uses Keith as an excuse to get out of horrific blind dates, and 1 time he doesn't have to
