Summary
Dazai doesn’t laugh. Akutagawa can’t tell what he’s thinking. He can never tell what he’s thinking, and he hates it. And he hates the way he pulls Dazai towards him, and he hates the way he grabs the man’s hair with his other hand, and he hates the way he pulls his face closer to his, and he hates the way Dazai’s mouth tastes like poison as it touches his own mouth.

Summary
He had really had a master. He had been brought to salvation from his wretched life in the slums. He had trained and fought to become stronger. He had been given a reason to live.
He threw you away.
Akutagawa grabbed onto the edge of the sink counter, squeezing as hard as he could. He stared at his reflection, full of rage and despair. Those words had been spitting in his ear repeatedly as of late.
He threw you away.
He threw you away.
He threw you away.

Summary
Natori Shuuichi never did well in the summer heat. Sixteen, his hair overgrown and nails perpetually stained dark after neurotically practicing calligraphy and suibokuga. He got into a habit of copying the ofuda he found in the warehouse, using trial and error to figure out what they could do.
At most, it was just a hobby, something to pass the time until he was a grown up.
At most, it was an act of rebellion that acknowledged the rot inside of him.
I can’t try to ignore it anymore, the most I can do is find a way to be free of it all.Bookmarked by lyss_28
