“But it did,” Jimmy says. He drags his eyes away from Joel’s. “And it was like this. Because it is always like this.”

See, Tango (of the Tek variety) has long since been dealing with minor memory problems. No big deal, really. Just little memory lapses. They generally gave him little trouble, so Tango had learned to live with them.
And then season nine rolls around, and his memory gets worse, and Impulse drags him out of his Decked Out hole, and suddenly, Impulse is dropping an explanation for his memory issues that Tango thinks might make his head explode.Or: Tango has memory issues, and Impulse thinks that Tango might be part of a system.

“Hey!” Donnie stomped his foot on the ramp. “I don’t know what kind of prank this is, but it isn’t funny.”
“This isn’t a prank, Dee,” said Leo, his voice nonchalant. “We took a vote, and you’re out.”
“That isn’t how this works!” Donnie took a step toward them. He could feel his muscles tensing, like he was bracing for impact. “You can’t just throw me out with a vote.”
“Well then, how about this,” Raph said, and Donnie shrank back as he stepped up.
In all his life, Raph had never made him feel so small.
“You’re out, Donnie. Leader’s orders.”
His brothers think they don't need him anymore? Well, fine. He doesn't need them either.
The old Donatello is gone. He'll build a new one. One that will make them regret they ever threw him aside.
Building things is what he's good at, after all.

Mikey didn’t open his arms to hug him back.
Mikey ran through him.
Leo is cursed by a mystic whatever thingy. But don't worry guys, he's totally got this! Getting back into his body? Easy peasy.
