"I think... I got here because you called me here." She shrugged.
"I called you?" He said, with sadness still lingering in his eyes and contempt in his voice, almost like a growl. "And tell me, what need would the King of Dreams have for a simple human?"
She paused for a second to think about her answer. "If I had to make a wild guess, and Im pretty certain I have unless I want to have nightmares for the rest of my life... I would say that because you are, well, lonely."

"Do what?" I watched as Morpheus came closer to where I stood. He knew what he was doing. I could tell by the smirk on his face.
"Make me question whether or not I really should be getting married." The words barely fell from my mouth as I tried not to think of how easily it would be to lean up and kiss him. I couldn't do that, not to Evan. Not after everything. Still I couldn't breathe correctly as I looked in Morpheus' eyes.
"Tell me you don't care for me then. Tell me this is what you want. Tell me to leave and I will not bother you again." I searched his eyes for a moment, trying to bring myself to tell him yes. That I want to marry Evan. That he's the one I love. But I couldn't. Because it wasn't true. I didn't love Evan. Not anymore.
"...I can't."Astrea Marrow had a simple life. A loving fiancé, a well-paying job. It was more than some people had, but it wasn't the life she wanted. She wanted more. But getting the life she wanted wasn't easy, which causes her to lose hope and for her dreams to begin to dull and turn gray. Which ends up catching the attention of Morpheus, who is not thrilled about the damage she has caused his realm.
