Summary
“First stop,” the cabbie calls out as they pull up to TK’s townhouse. Golden streetlights shimmer on the pavement, causing the Sparkle Grain to shine. Carlos leans across the seat, getting closer to TK than he has all night.
“Oh wow,” He breathes out, and TK’s happy to find that he can have that kind of impact too. Carlos looks at TK with mischief and mirth in his eyes. “This is you?”
“Yeah,” TK answers, sounding entranced. He’s noticed that Carlos hasn’t moved away, and has to do everything to calm the butterflies fluttering in his stomach. All Carlos does is grin, as if he’s waiting for more.
He thinks about what Angel said; about casual. How he hasn’t felt tense since Carlos’ brown eyes beckoned him in. He cocks an eyebrow and smiles before offering, “You want a tour?”
