Summary
In November of 2011, Leon and Luis are living a tentatively pleasant life together in a small apartment in downtown Boston, with Leon working for the newly-established DSO and Luis having stepped away from the world of bioterrorism to teach organismal biology at Northeastern University. Life is as fraught as it always is, but it's been a uniquely bearable last few years. When Luis mysteriously vanishes without a word one evening, Leon is forced to team up with Claire, who he hasn't seen or spoken to in eight years, in hopes of tracking him down and bringing him home.
A web of fear and distrust spins itself beneath the pair, and every new step forward calls into question everything Leon thought he knew about Luis.
