“Don’t be scared Will. You know i’d never do anything to hurt you.” Mike whispers easily, he brings both of his hands up to Will’s face and brushes the hair away from his eyes with his thumb.
“I wouldn’t do anything to you if i knew it was bad for you.” Mike added. The words sound dangerous but intoxicating at the same time.
Mike knew what was best for Will. And he would never do anything to lose Will, he knew that much.
Will swallowed, and nodded at Mike’s words. He found himself leaning into Mike’s touch, becoming putty in his hands, he cups Will’s cheeks and his thumb strokes his cheekbone.
OR
Will attempts to push Mike away out of fear of being heartbroken. Mike doesn’t take that lightly. Two heartbroken boys who cling onto each other in unhealthy ways just to keep from being broken apart.

MJ hummed, his arms crossing over his chest. He leaned a bit closer, voice low. "Good boy. That's why you're my favorite, you know."
That was another thing about his boss. He was a huge flirt. But it didn't mean anything, it never did. He was the GM of a fine dining establishment— charming patrons was a part of the job description. Maybe sometimes that blinding ray of charm was flashed upon Will, but he had just figured it was hard for MJ to turn it off. Hell, when Will clocked out it was rather difficult to shake his customer facing personality, too. Banter had always been easy between the two of them, but it didn't mean anything.
But 'good boy'? That was new.

The corner of Mike's mouth twitched. "Feral gets the job done."
"Does it?" Hazel eyes swept over him, from his tangled hair to his scuffed boots, a look that was both dismissive and intensely curious. "I find competence is far more reliable than savagery. Do you have a name?"
"Mike."
"Mike," the cleric repeated, and something about the way he said it made Mike’s stomach tighten. "I'm Will. And I expect you to keep your… savagery… focused on our enemies, not on my orders."
"I can do that," Mike was already imagining the kinds of orders this bunny could give him, and he was so, so fucked. The urge to lean in and bury his face right in the omega’s scent gland, to lick and bite and see if he tasted as good as he smelled was overwhelming.
