Summary
His gaze bore into Wade’s intensely and filled with heat, “I like you, Wade. A lot.”
Wade's smile dropped completely. He stared blankly at Logan, his expression unreadable. For a moment, Logan’s heart sank; he thought he’d crossed a line, that Wade would try to let him down easy with some joke.
But instead, Wade did something entirely unexpected.
He started laughing. The goddamn idiot started laughing.
Logan froze, his mouth parting slightly as he stared at Wade in disbelief. His hands remained lightly wrapped around Wade, uncertain if he should hold or let go. He didn’t know what to say or how to respond.
Eventually, the laughter died down, leaving behind an almost eerie quiet. Wade’s expression shifted, his haze turning serious and guarded. He looked at Logan, his eyes soft as he said quietly, “You don’t like me, Logan. Not like that.”
Or; The five times Logan showed Wade he loved him but Wade convinced himself otherwise and the one time Wade finally believed it.
