Sanji and the rest of the crew meet Nami for the first time in Cocoyashi Village as the navigator of the crew that stole their map to the Grand Line. While everyone else sees this orange haired girl collecting money as the enemy, Sanji notices there has to be more to her than meets the eye.
As much as he wants to save this girl of his dreams, it seems she wants anything but to be rescued.
But when has something as small as that ever stood between him and love?

On Monday, when he said, "Good morning, beautiful!" with a hearty smile, Nami stopped short - and then went absolutely stone-faced, determined not to react.
By Tuesday, she had thought of a rejoinder.
"Good morning, beautiful!"
"I'm not even sure it's a good morning, let alone beautiful," she said dryly.
She was even cleverer on Wednesday.
"Good morning, beautiful!"
"Zoro, tell the man thank you; he called you beautiful," Nami said with a sly grin.
"Well gee, thanks, waiter," Zoro deadpanned.
Touché, thought Sanji. Well played. But the game would continue.

Sits there, kinda sleepy now, Usopp making snuffling noises horizonal on the other side of the table, and Zoro very warm under his cheek. Maybe he is too drunk, because his eyes are closing and his breathing is evening out, and the hurt isn't that much, anymore, can barely feel it at all.
“You little shit,” Zoro says eventually.
Sanji grins to himself, says more to Zoro’s neck, “You think?”
