Summary
He walks toward Jayce, driven by a thousand hands on his back. Of people in that room, of ghosts, of his own mother. All pushing him toward Jayce and toward a future that metamorphosizes with every step he takes. Viktor can feel the winds shift and part of his story is wiped clean, unwritten by his own actions that night.
Viktor doesn’t look back. He allows Jayce to open the door for him, and steps out into the evening. The sunset is vibrant, gold and pink and explosive.
Feeling unaccepted by Piltover in the wake of his 28th birthday, Viktor returns to the Undercity for an annual festival to reconcile who he is with where he came from.
Things go south.

Viktor, an exchange student from Zaun Academy, arrives in Piltover for a year-long program aimed at bridging the divide between the two schools, which are locked in a bitter rivalry.
While there he meets Jayce Talis, Piltover’s "golden boy"—rich, popular, and seemingly perfect. Viktor initially despises Jayce, assuming he's just another privileged student. However, when the two are forced to collaborate on a project, Viktor’s perception begins to shift. As they work together and interact more, Viktor starts to see a side of Jayce he never expected, that forces him to confront his own biases.
