Summary
“That’s one of Jan’s,” Kris said with pride, interrupting his thoughts. The plaque below the piece read “Isolation” - Jan Peteh, charcoal on paper. Not for sale.
It wasn’t large, barely hitting three quarters of a meter, but it took Nace’s breath away. Rough-strewn charcoal in patches of black and white and grey were smeared over the paper in bright bursts of contrast. The charcoal figure felt like it was watching him, and he couldn't tear his eyes away from them, either.
Nace kept noticing more and more of the little details in the empty trees.

“The new Martin,” Bojan said bitterly, arms crossed.
With Martin moving to study abroad, the 'Joker Out House' need a new member of the house, much to the opposition of Bojan and Jan.
