Jaskier was mad at Geralt and was feeling a little vindictive. As for Yennefer, he envied her.
He spent a year wandering the continent, writing down everything he saw as Nilfgaard marched further North simultaneously dodging the soldiers that put a bounty on his head until he was captured.
Kidnapped and tortured for months and seething with resentment, Jaskier finally told them. Told them what they wanted to hear.***
Cintra fell and two weeks later Geralt met the princess. Only 14, Ciri carried the weight of an entire fallen kingdom so Geralt took her to train to Kaer Morhen hoping to find Yennefer along the way.
Months passed and a routine developed but then they heard from Yennefer; Nilfgaard had deployed a squadron of troops to march up North.
Compromised, the witchers readied themselves for battle. -

Summary
Jaskier wants his watermelon so he gets his watermelon.
Geralt feels a tug on his glove and turns to snarl at whoever is bothering him only to be met with the shimmering blue eyes of the bard who’s looking particularly beautiful and gleeful, bouncing on the balls of his feet.
“Watermelon,” he points to a wooden stall being flanked by numerous patrons all trying to get the wonderful fruit. There’s a cart full of watermelons behind the kiosk and a table laden with slices and fruit bowls in front and to the side.
It’s late springtime and the fruits have been bountiful. They passed by an apple orchard, smuggling a few for themselves and Jaskier kept feeding Roach who nipped his fingers and neighed happily.

Summary
Kojiro decides to bake some macarons in his Italian restaurant because he can and Kaoru struggling with his feelings for his best friend and 'rival'.
“Your kitchen is a health hazard.” Kaoru spots a knife balanced on the edge, picking it up and dropping it into the sink overflowing with dishes. “If you want to get stabbed so badly, just ask and I’ll do it free of charge,” He chastises, walking the short distance to smack Kojiro upside the head.
“Aww, I knew you cared,” Kojiro coos and points at a plate stacked with cookie sandwiches of various colours. Small and round, vibrant and delicate. It takes him back to their trip to Paris. A box of the confectionaries and coffee in their hands as they traversed through boulevards, relying heavily on Carla (which Kojiro denies till this day) to not get lost in the City of Lights. Ironically, they did get lost; Kojiro (because Kaoru isn’t an “imbecilic ape who forgot to pack his shirts and two braincells.”) forgot to bring Carla’s portable charger, leaving them to wander foreign streets, no matter how beautiful and scenic, for hours. Kojiro trying to speak French almost made up for it. Almost. He was banished to the couch that night

He looked sinful.
He lingered a little longer before dragged his eyes up, meeting a warm, honeyed gaze quickly shifting into something dark and sensuous, a saccharine-bordering-on-wolfish smile playing on Jaehyun’s lips.
“Whatever you’re thinking, stop thinking it,” Yuta scolded. That smile spelled trouble and the memories that came with the smile were both delightful and harrowing but mostly embarrassing. The look on their members' faces when they found them entangled on the sofa was forever going to be embedded in his mind, no matter how many memories he overlayed on top. It would be even more mortifying if one of their seniors walked in and Yuta shuddered at the thought.
“You’re no fun,” Jaehyun said, pouting. Unlocking his phone, he rifled through his music up and stood up walked to the speaker. “We haven’t spent a lot of time together and I thought we might practice a dance.”

Geralt’s skin was covered in a thin sheen of sweat from the noonday sun and was slightly tan as if that sun had gently caressed her golden fingers across the expanse of the Witcher’s muscles and left an imprint of her love to be remembered forever and—
And Jaskier was getting sidetracked watching his husband stretch; the way Geralt brought his arms above his head, interlocking his fingers, the ring on his finger—the twin on his own—shining bright, nearly blinding him and then the muscles in his back shifted and he let out the most obscene moan when he popped a knot.
Fucking hell.
Jaskier bit back a groan and now he was hot for a whole different reason. Though, if played it well then maybe this self-defence lesson would end in his favour.
Thank Melitele he got to marry a god amongst men.
‘Done staring, bard?’ Shit. Jaskier looked up from where he was ‘staring’ and met Geralt’s eyes as he looked over his shoulder, a predatory glint in his eye which Jaskier very much enjoyed. Maybe this was it. His ticket out of training.
