Summary
Park Seonghwa had been a prisoner at sea for the past two years ever since he was snatched off the streets. When a battle with a rival pirate crew leads to his capture, he is merely moved from one prison to another. He doesn't realize it at first, but this new prison is different. Against everything he knows, he slowly finds himself warming up to the crew members he had sworn to hate.
Park Seonghwa promised himself he would never feel again. Emotions only got people killed.
Captain Kim Hongjoong had never felt an ounce of remorse for anyone outside of his crew. If they weren't with him, they were against him. But when they bring a prisoner on board for information, Hongjoong watches as his crew members warm up to him despite their orders not to engage. As their attachment grows, Hongjoong's hate for the prisoner swells.
Kim Hongjoong promised himself he would protect his crew. Emotions only got people killed.

Summary
The warning was there, they had time to make it out. When the power went out without a moment’s notice followed by the water disappearing shortly after, Seonghwa knew that his screaming instincts weren’t to be ignored like his roommate told him. The portable radio they used only screamed static except for the occasional alarming words that no one believed because it was April 1st and it was all supposedly a big prank.
That’s all it was, right? Some big prank? That’s what Seonghwa’s roommate told him at least, but look where his roommate was now.
Or: Seonghwa attempts to survive during a zombie apocalypse and ends up meeting six loyal men and one incredibly cold-hearted leader to keep him company as they try to make it out alive.

"In Japanese, when you ask someone the question 'the moon looks beautiful tonight, doesn't it?', it's a romantic love confession. It's supposed to be subtle and poetic for a language as delicate as Japanese. It doesn't have a particular history in actual poetry but it's quite popular among the youngers."
Hongjoong's eyes widen in realization and he chuckles. His hands clench a bit and the corners of his eyes crinkle. His chuckle sounds like a bunch of little bells ringing, like it was handmade to perfection. Seonghwa's lost. He's too far gone. He'll never recover from his love for this man.
"Well, I'd accept it if someone confessed to me like that."
Seonghwa forgets to breathe for a split second.

or: seonghwa wakes up 100 years too early as he is being transported to a new planet. not only does he find himself in a life-threatening situation, but in a fit of anger, he manages to bring another poor soul down with him. the worst thing about it? seonghwa keeps it a secret from the unexpecting redhead that stole his heart.

before, they had just entertained the idea of the next step but had been too busy with life. but now as they both were a lot older, seonghwa wasn't attending as many competitions as he used to, getting closer and closer to his retirement, and he also wasn't constantly helping san practice because the younger had found his own fiery skater that had taken up all his time now. it took forever, but now they had more time to themselves, things were peacefully slower as they really started to think about settling down.
or: the side story to Dance With Me, where hongjoong's new job at the ice skating rink had him ending up wrapped around the finger of the prettiest ice skater he ever did see.

He felt angry, dejected and helpless.
Then he felt silly, stupid and over dramatic.
Then he reasoned with his paranoid mind that, if Hongjoong was feeling exhausted or needed a break, he would come to Seonghwa for help. He’d done so many, many times before. Tiredly leaning on Seonghwa’s shoulder in the middle of the night, slipping in his bed without a word, knowing Seonghwa would never push him away. They’d sit back against the pillows, Hongjoong falling asleep with his cheek pressed on Seonghwa’s bony shoulder, not seeming at all bothered or uncomfortable in that position and Seonghwa would spend the rest of the night drifting back and forth between sleep and awareness, ready to do anything Hongjoong might need to make him feel better.

There’s, honest to God, a world of excruciating pain in Seonghwa’s words, and Hongjoong’s not sure he even understands half of what is being said because Seonghwa is too fucking skilful with his words and too fucking vague, but he does hear one thing, loud and clear like he’s always heard it.
Just like him, Seonghwa is scared of being lonely too.

His life is taking a crazy turn as he gets asked to mate with a boy from another clan and take his brother Chan's place at the Arena.He doesn't think that he would ever let Hongjoong close to his heart, until the other alpha proves him wrong and show him a whole different world.
