Summary
Astarion still liked her even after he found out about the Urge. He still likes her, now, even as he sits just far enough away from her that their shoulders aren’t quite touching.
The thing is that Lenore loves him. Lenore loves Astarion more than she imagines she has ever loved anything, ever, past life of missing memories be damned. And it doesn’t matter if she wants to curl up against him. She doesn’t want to make him uncomfortable—it’s not something he wants, he’d said—and her own hands are too stained with blood for her to even try.
She’ll take it in stride. She’ll only touch him when he initiates it, and even then she will hold her breath until it’s gone.
She loves him, is the thing. She’s not going to do that to him.

Dean can't remember the last time he was touched gently, which is fine. He takes what he can from one-night-stands and hugs from Sam—which only really happens anymore if one or both of them dies—because he's an adult, and he isn't going to go crying about how much he wants someone to hold him. God forbid Dad comes back to life and beats some sense into him for thinking it.
And then Castiel grips him tight and raises him from perdition, and. Well. The guy's touchy. Dean would rather swallow a block of cement than admit how much he likes it.
