    “Come on, Addams, you know the drill,” Tyler said, dangling the handcuffs with a sneer, “Or are you going to give me a reason to use force?”
    She bared her teeth at him. “I believe you’re supposed to tell me why I’m being arrested.”
    He smirked cruelly. “You happen to be a suspect in a murder case. Why do you think I’m arresting you?”
    From the corner of her eye, she saw Enid make her way over to Bianca, Yoko, Divina, and Kent. “Considering your track record, you could be arresting me because the sky is blue.”
    His face contorted in anger, and he took a step forward, using his taller stature in an attempt to intimidate her. “Turn the fuck around, put your hands behind your back, and shut the fuck up.”
    She smirked, complying with his request. There were plenty of witnesses in her favor, not to mention the person filming the moment from upstairs. And she shouldn’t push him with Enid in the room. She didn’t want to force that side of her mate out if she didn’t have to. Even though the thought was enough to have her wet.

    This fic is pretty much a slow burn in which Enid is heavily in denial, but somehow she figures it out.
