Summary
Adriana doesn’t tell their parents that she’s going to LA. She doesn’t tell Eddie, either—or ask, for that matter.
She does ask Chris, and he thinks it’s a good idea—says as much, on the phone, and doesn’t say much else.
“Buck will probably be hovering,” is what Chris does volunteer.
It still surprises her when the man who opens the door is not Eddie. It’s—Captain America, is the thing that actually comes to mind—a man close to a foot taller than she is, if not more than that, with blond curls and broad shoulders, and he’s got a question in his very blue eyes that’s probably less friendly than the one he actually asks her.
“Uh,” he says. “Can I help you?”

Summary
Sleep brings an omega to the house one evening, frail and blood-spattered with wide blue eyes.
III tumbles down the porch steps, lets Sleep curl happily around his shoulders, and pumps out calming pheromones toward the shivering man.
The man jolts back as III comes closer, and III croons at him lowly, and tells him he’s safe here.
The man watches him fearfully.
“We weren’t expecting you,” III says. “Sorry, so sorry.”

Summary
“You’ll be called IV. Welcome to the collective.”
After his last relationship fell apart he was left drifting, until a mysterious deity in his dreams led him to a hidden manor in the countryside. Turns out that the followers of this deity had heard of him. From the ex that they all share. IV tells himself that this is fine, he just has to play guitar for them.
It's not like he isn't used to being lonely.
